How we started
The indie publishing market blew up after the turn of the century. Still Traditional publishers were gatekeepers, not only with getting a publishing contract but with how to find success as an author. The only way to get someone to look at you meant you needed a strong platform, or customer already willing to buy from you.
The thing most of us figured out was if you already had a platform, you didn't really need a publisher your books would sell themselves.
The next hurdle was making our independently published books not look like they were armature.
So we started learning all the tricks of the trade, great covers, catchy blurbs, keyword focus, and writing to market. Still, there is a strong learning curve. A price you pay for entry some say.
So we began to think, what if we could help independent authors become as professional and polished as the publishing houses.
